Scriptwink Privacy Policy

Scriptwink is a teleprompter app. This policy explains what the app does and does not do with your information — in short: everything stays on your device.

What Scriptwink accesses, and why

  • Camera — to show you a live preview and record video while you read your script.
  • Microphone — to record audio along with that video.
  • Photo Library (add-only) — to save the videos you choose to keep. Scriptwink can only add videos to your library; it cannot read, browse, or modify anything else already in your Photos.

What Scriptwink does not do

  • Scriptwink does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data, video, audio, or scripts with us or with any third party.
  • Scriptwink does not use analytics, tracking, or advertising SDKs of any kind.
  • Scriptwink itself makes no network requests of its own. The only network activity you'll ever see is Apple's own StoreKit purchase flow if you choose to unlock unlimited recording length — that transaction is handled entirely by Apple, not by us, and we never see your payment details.
  • Scriptwink does not require or support account creation or sign-in.

Where your data lives

  • Videos you choose to save go directly to your device's Photos library. We never see them, have no server they pass through, and have no way to access them.
  • Scripts and settings (font size, scroll speed, color, and similar preferences) are stored locally on your device only, using standard iOS local storage. They are never transmitted anywhere and are removed if you delete the app.

Children's privacy

Scriptwink does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children, because it does not collect information from anyone at all.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes — for example, if a future version of Scriptwink adds a feature that does involve data leaving your device — this page will be updated, and the "Last updated" date above will reflect that.
